That’s why FN designed their tactical systems to adapt longer barrels to the same compact core platforms used in the P90 and F2000 Tactical. The PS90 is a semi-auto only carbine with a civilian-legal 16.04" barrel, allowing the operator to extract maximum ballistic performance from the 5.7x28mm cartridge. The FS2000 Tactical is a 223 Rem./5.56x45mm NATO semi-auto only bullpup carbine that utilizes a civilian-legal 17.4" barrel. Both are compact, lightweight, ergonomically correct firearm designs that remain true to their tactical origins.

Based on the P90 and built around FN’s revolutionary 5.7x28mm ammunition, the PS90 provides a compact, lightweight and completely ambidextrous firearm capable of fulfilling numerous security, personal defense, competition and recreational shooting roles. The 10- or 30-round box magazine runs horizontally along the top of the PS90. Fired cases are ejected downward where they cannot interfere with the user. The extended 16.04" barrel and closed bolt operation give the PS90 outstanding accuracy while recoil is reduced by the integral muzzle brake.

The FN FS2000 Tactical is a compact, reliable and accurate semi-auto only carbine with a 17.4" civilian-legal barrel and is suitable for security, personal defense or competition. The gas-operated system fires a wide variety of 223 Rem. (5.56x45mm NATO) ammunition fed from standard M16-style magazines. Fired cases are ejected through a forward port away from the operator. The FS2000 sports both adjustable auxiliary iron sights and a top-mounted M1913 rail for mounting optical, electronic or laser sighting systems. An angled-face muzzle brake helps minimize recoil.
